Look what I got in the mail today!!
In December, Rachelle and Natalie from What the Teacher Wants hosted a fabulous giveaway for a personalized class set of Brag Tags in the design of your choice (plus 24” neck chains) from imagestuff.com!! There were five winners and I WAS ONE OF THE LUCKY WINNERS!!! I was so excited. I LOVE winning giveaways!! {Who doesn’t??}
I first saw Brag Tags on Cara’s blog and I fell in love with them. I couldn’t wait to try them in my room. The hardest part was choosing a design. There are so many fantastic designs. Was I going to choose a design for good behavior, good reading, overall academic achievement, a special day, star student… so many fabulous designs to choose from!! I finally decided upon a super cute design for star students.
I am planning on using them to reward good behavior. I saw a post by Sandra over at Sweet Times in First where she is doing this in her classroom. I am using a clip chart in my room this year and I love it!! I am going to use Sandra’s idea to add beads to their necklace for good behavior. I plan on adding a bead to their necklace when they are on pink {Outstanding}. When they get ten beads, they will trade them in for a special bead and a trip to the treasure box!! I love this as a way to motivate and keep track of good behavior!!
Check out these super giveaways!!
Heather from Heather's Heart is having a great giveaway! It ends Feb. 10 so be sure to check it out!

ReplyDeleteSound like a great idea. I am always looking for a new trick I mean strategy for appropriate behavior. I don't know why they won't be good just because I said so.
